Pierre Paillard Les Parcelles XVIII Grand Cru Extra Brut ChampagneThis is mostly from the 2018 vintage with the addition of 20% Reserve wine. The cuvee was assembled with fruit from primarily Bouzy and is made up of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Quite a minimal dosage but the ripeness of the vintage puts this in the present fruit character. The nose shows soft stone fruits, cream, a touch of red apple and a light suggestion of hazelnuts. The oldest vintages are kept in Bonbonnes (glass jars) away from the light

Matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and blended in small batches for up to 6 months
