A Striking Art Deco Cigarette Box, Inscribed & Dated 1931Origin: English Period: Art Deco Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1930 Height: 2 inches Width: 5 inches Depth: 3 inches Of a dramatic all over sunburst geometric design, the painted wooden box is coloured in yellow, amber and black to provide a very typical and appealing appearance. Opening the box we find the lid is inscribed in ink From Edith, January 1931. There is some general wear and crackle to the paintwork but the box is structurally very sound. A
