Saint-Saens - Two Sacred Choruses for Brass QuartetSaint Saens composed several settings of Ave Maria. This version is for a cappella chorus from about 1860. Tollite Hostias (Bring Forth Your Offerings) is an anthem and comes from the final chorus of his Christmas Oratorio from 1858. Jean Louis Couturier has arranged these two lovely works for Brass Quartet. They will work for Christmas or Easter and can be performed by intermediate + performers, as the technical demands are quite modest.
