CH44 easy chairThe CH44 lounge chair from 1965 by Hans J. Wegner is simplicity perfected. The chair features both Wegners characteristic, defined joints between the front legs and armrests as well as grooves on the top of the rear legs from which to hang a back cushion. The armrests slope upwards towards the rear legs, becoming more slender as they rise, thus elegantly strengthening the vertical joint. The overall effect appears striking and the result is
